1. Who we are

Donefeed is a content-production service and the controller of personal information processed through the service. This policy applies to Donefeed websites, applications, shared previews, and related support services. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to hello@donefeed.com.

2. Information we collect

We process account details such as your name, email address, authentication provider, referral code, and subscription status. We also process prompts, uploaded references, projects, templates, captions, slide layers, media, edits, comments, exports, schedules, and support reports you choose to provide.

We collect limited technical and usage data—including referring site, campaign parameters, first-party visitor and visit identifiers, device and browser category, request and generation timing, feature activity, errors, cost records, and security events—to operate and improve Donefeed. We do not put your email address, prompt text, or project content into acquisition analytics. Payment card details are collected by Stripe, not stored by Donefeed.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, generate and save projects, source and rank media, export posts, provide collaboration and sharing, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, communicate service messages, and measure product reliability, acquisition, adoption, and cost.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security, service measurement, and product reliability, and act on consent where we specifically request it. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis.

4. AI and service providers

Your prompts, project context, and selected media may be sent to AI and search providers when needed to perform a feature. We also use infrastructure, authentication, email, payment, monitoring, and storage providers. These providers process information for us under their own security and contractual controls.

Donefeed may surface material from public web sources. Source provenance and usage rights remain important; you are responsible for confirming that your final publication is lawful and appropriate.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information to AI, search, infrastructure, storage, authentication, email, payment, analytics, and support providers as needed to run Donefeed; when you invite collaborators or publish a share link; to comply with law; or to protect users and the service. A view or edit link exposes the project content authorized by that link.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account and project information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for recovery, billing, security, legal obligations, and backups. Projects placed in Trash are scheduled for permanent deletion after seven days. Some records—such as invoices, abuse logs, or aggregated cost data—may be retained longer where required or reasonably necessary.

7. Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, secret storage, signed sessions, and provider safeguards designed to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use unique credentials and report suspicious activity promptly.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

You may edit or delete projects in Donefeed, cancel a paid plan from the pricing and billing page, and request access, correction, portability, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, appeal a denied request, or complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

9. Age and international processing

Donefeed is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If we learn that a child provided personal information in violation of this policy, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or contractual protections.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as Donefeed evolves. Material changes will be posted here and, when appropriate, communicated in the product.
